**Good or Bad**

Can too much alone time be bad for one's self? Since finals and school is out, I feel so confused on what I am suppose to do. No more homework or tests for 3 weeks! It will be nice to relax some but the idea of going out and not having to worry about being "responsible" just seems crazy. I think I am going through some weird emotions of being an "adult" and being an "young adult" where is the balance? Going out just doesn't seem appealing at all any more.

Guess it goes back to that answer of "opening yourself up to others". I have such awesome friends with their busy lives as well that things get so crazy. I think I need to learn how to balance my life more in proportion. Basically life will be crazy until after xmas but everything will pan out I am sure. I have consumed all of the Twilight books, debating if I should just read all the Harry Potter books now or re-read the Twilight series. I only have the first Harry Potter book... oOo well... I am sure I will choose one tonight since school is out. But I need to work on my "new years resolution" or I like to call it my "goals" lol.

First did I accomplish my goals of 2008:

So a new year... 2008. Wow... so its time to fill it with new memories, new laughs, new tears, new friends, and so much more... Most people make new year resolutions, I really dont want to call it that but to call it my "2008 Goals" So here we go:

I would like the read the "One Year Bible" this year. A 365 day commitment into God's word, so push me on that guys! lol.

I would also like to read at least 2 of the Harry Potter Books, haha... everyone talks about how great they are so that is a goal.

I want to go on a trip, any trip without my mother and father, weither it be to San Diego, Vegas, where ever it may be, I just want to get out and start to explore and take risks and make adventures.

I want to find a hobbie again, I really want to pick up guitar, or dance... I just want to find something that I could do for fun that keeps me active and something that I have passion toward. Dance has always been my love but maybe some music would do me some good.

I want to push myself into making each day the best and try to make this year a year of positive actions. This is hard for anyone but 2007 I would say was a learning experience, and this year I want to be positive.

And of corse, to grow closer to God. I want this the most and I want this to be the year me and God become closer than ever before.

So there are some of my goals for 2008. :) So bring on the year... Im ready!

I accomplished a good amount of my goals:

I didn't read Harry Potter... but I did read the Twilight Series (All 4 Books)

I did go on a trip without my parents. I went to college briefing with Crave. ;)

I didn't really get into dance or going to the gym again (goal for 2009) but I did get into ASL. I really enjoy learning another language so its kinda a hobby right?

I have gotten closer to God as well.... but I didn't read the Bible in a year ;( (goal for 2009)

So I did alright... hmm time to make my 2009 Goals huh? lol.

**Disney Fairy Tale**

As you ALL know... Who is the biggest Disney girl. ...Guess you could say me. lol. So yes, this is the disney fairy tale collection of wedding gowns and you better believe this will be the collection I will wear on that very special day. ;) Love it! :)

**The Best Wo(man)**

Yesterday seemed just like any other day except for the strange but pretty sweet conversation we had. I was studying when my phone goes off the hook. Phone call after phone call from my dad. I pick up after so many missed calls and answered. He chatted about little things here and there and brought up how he would like to renew his vows with my mama bear.. (Shh... its a surprise... so dont tell her) for their 25th anniversary. Its not for another two years, but he was just so excited and lit up about it. He went on explaining how he wants the wedding to look and so on.. 

Then he pauses and say,"Amy, you know your my best friend in the whole world and I would like you to be my best man". I was shocked. #1. Best MAN is for a "Man" position and #2. I have a brother that fills in the position of a "Man" and I asked him why me. and He went on saying that I have been his best friend besides of corse, my mother. So I giggled and told him I would love to have that role but in one condition that it be the called "The Best Wo(man)" lol. He agreed to that arrangement.

So you think that was cooky enough... Then he tells me,"So you need to pick out your wedding dress". I froze. Uhh... last time I checked I was very single at this moment, not even close to the thought of a wedding. He laughed and explained how a lot of mothers let their daughters wear their wedding dresses, well since my mom and dad never had the "Disney Fairy Tale Wedding" but announced their vows at the court house, I could see what my father wanted. He wanted my mother to wear "the dress" then "I would get to wear it" when I got married.

I dont think my mother would love any dress that I would want. Poor mother, would be prancing around in a Kristie Disney Fairy Tale Dress (oOo yes.. no other gown shopping would be needed but at the boutique that has every gown). 

So I have a lot to do for the next two years. Be the Best Wo(man) to my father for his "secret renewing vow plot" and to hit the gym like asap so I could pick out a wedding gown. I teased my father saying, "you know that there is only one way to get me to go to the gym and get into the best physical shape possible, anything with "Amy's Wedding" involved" So if its my dress, I have to have help on kickin my butt at the gym and also picking out my dress.. So strange that I am not even close to getting married and the dress hunt begins... Happy Hunting!

It is funny how much I reflect on my life and still see myself that same old girl growing up. Always believing in that "Love Story" or "Fairy Tale" and so many girls do this... and I want every girl out there to know that their Love Story will come soon enough.

Ladies! How true is this!! Seriously, If I had to bet on a author for my "Love Story" I would go all in with Christ as that author. Sometimes we can be impatient or even have a heart to heart and ask God, well... So when is this fairy tale gonna happen? And truth is, your Romeo may not be ready for his Juliet and maybe Juliet needs a little more shaping before she meets her Romeo. You never know why God hasn't brought the two of you together yet, but he has good reasoning. ;)

How true is this!! This is amazing... One of the songs that got me through the year of 2008! :) Even tho I broke down and was totally honest with how I felt to the person who I tried to hide it from... but it made me see how much stronger I am. ;) I am super girl!
